I did not grow up in an entrepreneurial family. Growing up I was told to go to college, get a degree and then a corporate job. That was the path of life. However, after experiencing corporate America, I realized I wanted more control over my life.
I didn’t want to continue to be underpaid, micromanaged, underappreciated and have to deal with all the corporate politics.
I wanted more passive income and time with my family.
Starting a business was exactly what I wanted in order to create the life
I wanted and to have the opportunity to truly help my community.
With over 20 years in the financial industry helping families achieve their financial goals is my passion. I understand that the world of money can be confusing and daunting and having the opportunity to walk with my clients through that journey is why I do what I do.
In my spare time I love to travel and watch my favorite team - University of Michigan - football team. Go Blue!

After college graduation and only a few short months in the corporate world, I knew that I wanted more out of my career. I wanted more control over my time, paycheck and the impact I would have on the community. I was introduced to the financial industry and fell in love with the opportunity to not only be my own boss but also
to truly help families achieve their goals and dreams.
Now, over 20 years later I love being able to pay forward the knowledge I was taught in order to help others create the life they truly desire - both financially and professionally.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and, most of all, spending time with my family—including our two daughters, our crazy Chihuahua, Blue and our newest addition, Brady.

Tracy Rosas
Client Relations Manager
I've been the Client Relations Manager at Sheppard Financial since February 2022, working with an amazing team and supporting our clients.
Originally from New York (accent mostly gone!), I have two adult children—my son in NC and my daughter in York. My Shichon, Barton, is my loyal work-from-home companion. A devoted Christian, I grow in my faith daily. I’m a passionate New York Mets and Kansas City Chiefs fan, a mystery book lover, coffee enthusiast, and music junkie with an eclectic playlist. Dancing, sun-soaked beaches, and a good read are my happy places!
Ashley Sweitzer
Office Manager
I have been the office manager for the Sheppard Financial Group for almost a year but have known Ben and Samantha for years.
I was born and raised in York county and graduated from Red Lion. I have two beautiful children, Aislin & Gunnar that keep me busy with their sports and activities when I'm not at the office. We also have a goldendoodle pup who's name is Breaker.

Sarah Thayer
Development and Licensing Coordinator
I bring a background in finance, marketing, and management to Sheppard Financial group. With a degree in psychology and experience as a business owner, I am passionate about working with new advisors, providing guidance, resources, and support to help them build successful careers. I enjoy mentoring, problem-solving, and creating strategies that empower advisors to grow and thrive in the industry.
Outside of the office, I spend time with my family and enjoy reading. I am a proud mom to Evanora, who keeps me on my toes and loves adventure and travel as much as my husband, Owen, and I do.
